Telehealth
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I will be working remotely for the foreseeable future. Once it is deemed safe for you, your family, and me and mine, I will return to in-person services. I am currently allowed to practice tele-mental health in Texas, California, Illinois, Kansas, and Florida (FL telehealth provider # TPMF348).
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, I help you to uncover your challenges and understand what great things you have to offer. I encourage you to discover the parts of yourself you want to shine, and the parts you no longer want to dominate your life. I help you to discover ways of interaction that get the response and the quality connection you want and deserve with the important people in your life.
Couple Therapy
In couple therapy, we explore how to get better connection in your relationship. We do this by working together to figure out what you each bring to the table, what you hope to get out of the relationship, and how to achieve the quality of connection you desire. It doesn't have to be hopeless - Therapy can help. Relationships take some work, but they should be more fun and fulfilling. I'm here to help you work smarter, not harder, and to really enjoy each other. If your relationship hurts more often then not, you owe it to yourself and to each other to find a better way. I work with all kinds of couples, of any relationship status.

Sex Therapy
Sex is a very personal and complex part of our lives. My mentor used to always say, "sex is adults at play." When is the last time you really played? Sex should be a positive, pleasurable experience, at least most of the time; if it is not, something might be wrong. When going well, sex contributes to individual health, relationship satisfaction, fulfilling connection, and overall well being. When sex is problematic, tension and conflict increase, and connection goes out the window. Shame, disappointment, and negativity might move in. Sexual difficulties show up in many different ways. If you suffer from pain, low desire, absent or disappointing orgasm, different desire from your partner, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, fear of intimacy, problems or disagreements about the use of erotic material (aka porn), or general sexual dissatisfaction, therapy can help.
*What sex therapy is not: Sex therapy does not involve any sexual contact with the therapist. I do not watch, touch, or otherwise get involved in sexual or romantic activity with clients. I do talk with you in my office about your unique difficulty, and help you find ways to understand, overcome, or cope with those difficulties. This is a safe place where you can be free to talk about anything without judgment.
